Modern science's practitioners are anti-supernatural. Radical and professional skeptics believe all phenomena can be explained through purely natural mechanisms, the laws of physics and chemistry. They have many pet-names for those who disagree. This is largely a western belief with most of the world knowing that there is more than just the laws of nature.
These modern scientists require that the same observable, testable, repeatable, recognized laws that govern the material universe today are the very same laws that brought the universe into existance in the beginning. This is an amazing leap of faith! This is like studying an automobile for which there are no records. |
