In the beginning God...Genesis 1:1
It is only propper to begin everything with God! If you can't, something is wrong. Next to 'God is love', 1 Jn 4:8, these four words are the most profound in all of scripture. Real love must be expressed, so God created humanity in His image to be capable of both receiving and giving love. For love to be real the recipient must possess the power to choose, and be free to accept or reject the offer of love. |

Introduction |
||
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Many Bible passages begin with a statement of fact, an introduction or a title. Time did not exist, space did not exist,
In the beginning God needed a place to put His creation. God was all there was, so from within Himself He made SPACE and for the first TIME something existed that was not God. In that space He put water, the first created matter, and called it earth. This water was the 'seed' for everything else that would be created. God would make the 'dirt' of the earth on day 3. |

Is 66:1-2 Thus says the LORD, Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool, what manner of house will you build Me? and what place shall be My rest?
For all these things My hand has made, and so all these things came to be, says the LORD. But to this man will I look: even to him that is of a poor and contrite spirit, and that trembles at My word.
